David Cherry Art & Technique Book Imagination
"Imagination: The Art & Technique of David A. Cherry," by David A. Cherry,
foreward by Stephen R. Donaldson. Oversized (8.5" x 11") paperback, loaded with
color illustrations (32 + full-page), 112 pages, possible first edition (1985

From the back cover: "Not only is this a collection of some of David Cherry's
best science fiction and fantasy book covers and works of his own fancy, but
there is an entire section devoted to the technique that has catapulted him
into a position of rising prominence in his field. The beauty of his art is
overwhelming, and the step-by-step technique which resulted in the cover painting
is a primer for those who want to emulate his skills."
