Touring With The Mavis'
In recent news, the Melbourne based group Effigy have been joined by Even on the
up coming Mavis' Australian East Coast Tour.
The
tour covers four states actually, as it includes Adelaide and a couple of Regional
shows. Over 10,000 fans will get a chance to catch this new phenomenon as they
rip it up in over 20 cities in total.
This announcement comes hot off the heels of two incredible television performances,
where Effigy played their debt single 'Suspicion Bells' - Hey, Hey it's Saturday
(first week of July), and the ABC's Recovery (second week of July).
Regarding West Coast touring, the band then head over to Western Australia for
a few shows in late August.
In other news Effigy have been added to 'The Push' bill in Melbourne, while recently
scoring across the board support on Sydney's premier new music (rock) station
96.1 FM with 'Suspicion Bells'. This is the first single off their forth-coming
album "Century Collapsing" out August 7th.
