The new bassists name is Cobina, she is sooooo cool i met her and jason
at " the edge" on 13 of august 1998 it was soo cool they played with the
mavis's but they were better than the mavis's though the rest of the crowd
diddnt think so... this is sad cos effigy are cool. and cobina rocks big
time...... i do have one difficulty in your view of effigy in that they
sound nothing like the fucking smashing pumpkins (they suck big time)
sorry but they are so boring.and effigy are cooly cool... yeah hooray
for effigy , we need to know more about them hey? there is nothing about
them anywhere how sad... gotta go see_ya

5UV (Adelaide uni radio) had an effigy special where effigy played most
of their new album for them, and Cobina was interviewed, very good. i
also was lucky enough to win Century collapsing signed. i taped it so

Hi it's me again i just thought that i'd tell you all that Effigy was
playing at Ballina on the 16th as the supporting band for the Mavis's
and they were exellent!! Many people came to see them instead of the main
band.

are touring soon? well, i saw it in an ad for the local all-ages hotel
and it was scheduled for the fri & sat the 4 & % of sept. i dearly hope

hi :) Cobina is from the Melb band Sourpuss who are associated with the
Rock n Roll High School and have been on some of their comps...they were
a good band actually. i also have an effigy web page but yours is much
