I've been a fan of Effigy for about 2 years now, and I must admit, there are very few sites on the net dedicated to them. As such, I was very impressed with your site, congrats! I saw Effigy play live at UQ about a year ago, and they sounded excellent. I went up and met them all, got their autographs and had a bit of a chat with them. I've gotta te l you, they are a really friendly bunch of people. They were happy to talk to me about their music and stuff, it was really cool. Congrats again on the site, keep it up!

Ihave a friend from Nambucca Heads whom just lurves Effigy......shame they have bisbanded. My friend {her name is Jenn}produced I think the only 'fanzine' of Effigy..it was titled "Black Lashes" anyone familiar with it????Poor Jenn is very distraut 'cos they are no more .....does anyone have any info on what they are up to now????

saw effigy "live" about 2 years ago at Producers in Adelaide (where i used to live), just after "Lovers" was released. very small crowd, unfortunately - maybe 50 people. great show, though!

Hey i went to Pushover (festival in Melbourne) and Effigy were playin. i knew little of them and didnt expect much but the were totally unreal. i bought the pushover CD and Suspicion Bells was on it =) i have listerned to that track alone almost ever s ngle day since, so i think i might get there latest album. it took me a few goes to find an Effigy site till i ended up here, which is sad coz they are soo good.

i went to the effigy concert in perth, which was held at the Grosvenor.It was really wicked.I got to go backstage and meet the band.Cobina was saying how she ate steak at Margaret River and how it made her sick.Never eat steak there.Pete was really cool nd so was Jason.The concert was really cool as well.effigy rock.
