I caught a fish in a well
with a Siamese cat,
I caught a broken promise
and nothing else after that.
And that was that etc...

I thought that once in a while you would write to me.
I thought that I saw you smile at my tyranny.

I caught a thief in a field
digging up my best friend.
I caught the very train
that reaches the end.
The end the end etc...

I thought that once in a while you would write to me.

But you won't wake up till I'm dead.
