Ugly Phil: In the house tonight, a very famous band called Effigy. They've got a couple of things out - plug, plug, plug! Fifty cents from every CD goes to the ‘Ugly Phil - save my hair' foundation, so its going well so far. Guys, its great to have you in here. Introduce your selves from left to right over here.

Jason: I'm Jason. I'm the drummer.

Ugly Phil: Right.

Pete: My name's Peter and I play guitars and sing.

Cobina: I'm Cobina and I'm the bass player.

Ugly Phil: Absolutely! Of course we have an effigy because we have the band Effigy. Now, I've written you a few questions out here that you may want to answer in your own ‘effigenic' style. (groan) So (Jason), would you like to go first and have a look?

Jason: Err..?

Ugly Phil: Pick any one, any one. Okay...

Jason: The artist-formally-known-as-Prince is now know as?

Cobina: Love Symbol.

Ugly Phil: Well, is that how you pronounce it? Fantastic! I'm glad we finally got that out of the way. What do you think of the effigy? Does it remind you of anyone, by the way?

Jason: Its - its...

Cobina: Starts with H.

Jason: Its kind of Hansen-esk.

Ugly Phil: No, in fact it is not Isaac Hansen, but it is a good guess. Okay, who's going to go for the next question? Come on guys - don't be afraid!

Pete: Let me.

Ugly Phil: Yeah. Well, we're well armed on this show with questions.

Pete: I'll get it from the forearm area.

Ugly Phil: Okay.

Pete: What's Elton John's hair made of?

Cobina: Polystyrene.

Ugly Phil: Polystyrene is absolutely right! Congratulations! I'll give that to you. (Hands her their own CD.) Elton John's hair is in fact made of polystyrene. Yes. Hey (Pete), don't mess with my girl. I'm going to take this home later. Who's going to answer the next question? Who's gonna go?

Jason: Your turn (Cobina)?

Ugly Phil: Come on guys! Don't be afraid.

Cobina: Okay. What is the postcode for Woop Woop? Effigy?

Jason: 000...0?

Ugly Phil: No, sorry. In fact its 000-2! So, a couple more questions. Come on!

Pete: Sorry guys - just jumped in there. When is you're new album out?

Ugly Phil: Oh, that's a good question. I like that.

Pete: Er...well...this Monday.

Ugly Phil: This Monday?

Pete: Yep!

Ugly Phil: Great. And you've been touring with the Mavis's, as well? Fantastic! One more question before you go live.

Pete: One about us, Jas.

Jason: Okay. Why is the album called ‘Century Collapsing'?

Pete: Oh shit!

Ugly Phil: Hey!

Jason: Didn't like that question.

Pete: We always get that question!

Ugly Phil: Well, come on. Look, its a effigy doll asking it to you. Let's not get too serious.

Cobina: The world ending now. The Millennium Bug. All that stuff.

Ugly Phil: Wow! Hopefully in the year 2001, you guys aren't selling ‘Disintegration'. Here they are! The answer to the Millennium Bug! They're gonna play live right now for you on Ground Zero. They're gonna play their new single, ‘Suspicion Bells'. Ladies and gentlemen - meet Effigy. Let's check them out live and absolutely plugged in!
