three piece Effigy have been playing there wares to punters around the nation
for a few years now, their noise couldnt even begin to be stereotyped.
A weird blend of goth romantic rock and rags. Effigy have appeared at countless
venues and entranced fellow punters with their haunting sound that makes you shake
your laces to the front and grope your beer for attention. They swing.

This is a band that made a huge impact on Dutch-based independent label Roadrunner
Records when they sought Aussie acts for a local roster. Having relocated from
Perth, Effigy have flown high in Melbourne with this quirky, alternative pop song.
They have a charismatic lead singer in Peter Hardman who is willing to set his
own trend in delivering pop with attitude. This single is a good forerunner to
their eagerly-awaited album which is due in the near future.
